TENDER is a body butter created by JC Jackson to help relieve dry, rough, uncomfortable skin while wrapping the body in the same tenderness Ghana wrapped around her heart. This jar is her love letter to Ghana, written in butters, clay, and scent.

Just as Ghana’s kindness softened the rough places in JC’s life, TENDER melts into the skin to soften rough elbows, thirsty legs, and winter‑tired hands. Mineral‑rich rhassoul clay adds a smooth, velvety finish, while Ghanaian shea and cocoa butters cocoon the skin in long‑lasting moisture that helps reduce water loss and support a healthy‑feeling barrier. A calming swirl of lavender with gently warming ginger invites the nervous system to exhale, offering a soothing, cozy aroma that echoes evenings of being cared for instead of carrying everything alone.

This is a body butter for people who want their moisture ritual to feel like a love note. Earthy, elegant, and quietly restorative in the most comforting way, straight from JC Jackson’s heart to your skin.

Pre‑order details:

Key ingredient benefits

    •    Ghanaian shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii). Rich in triglycerides and unsaponifiable lipids that act as emollients and occlusives, helping decrease transepidermal water loss and improve hydration and barrier function in dry and atopic‑prone skin (Loden, 2003; Saha et al., 2019).

    •    Cocoa butter (Theobroma cacao). Provides additional occlusive lipids and cocoa polyphenols that support smoother, more supple, healthy‑looking skin and may offer antioxidant protection against environmental stress (Vitorino et al., 2024).

    •    Rhassoul clay. A North African clay naturally rich in magnesium and silica; in topical use it gently absorbs excess oil and impurities while improving skin smoothness and elasticity without harsh abrasion (Farnatchi Spa, 2023; Wellness Mama, 2019).

    •    Lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia). Clinical and preclinical work shows lavender oil can have anti‑inflammatory, analgesic, and anxiolytic effects, supporting comfort in irritated skin and promoting relaxation when inhaled (Panahi et al., 2019; Nikura, 2024).

    •    Ginger essential oil (Zingiber officinale). Reviews of ginger highlight anti‑inflammatory and analgesic properties that can ease feelings of muscular and joint discomfort when used topically in appropriate dilutions (Srivastava et al., 2020; Nikura, 2023).

Directions for use:

Massage a small amount into clean, slightly damp skin until absorbed. A little goes a long way. Using more than a pea‑sized amount per area may feel lightly dewy or tacky at first; this usually settles as the butter absorbs. For best results, use daily on areas prone to dryness such as legs, arms, hands, and feet.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under medical care, consult a physician before use.
